      An important way that Sysco supports and sustains an inclusive workplace is through Associate Resource Groups (ARGs), our volunteer-based, associate-led groups that help connect individuals who share similar experiences, interests and challenges. ARGs create communities where associates and allies support each other, work together for an inclusive culture where everyone belongs, and implement strategies to positively impact our customers and business results.

      Food for Thought provides a global network of support to Sysco associates, with the goal of raising awareness of mental wellness in the workplace, reducing stigma, and providing resources for any associate dealing with mental health challenges in their life (personally or through supporting loved ones) or looking for ways to promote positive well-being. The ARG connects people with their peers and is a safe space for employees to share their experiences, talk about pressing and prevalent issues, and offer support to one another.
